Payment

One night room deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival.  If for any reason your card is declined, we cancel your reservation and place the room back in our inventory and notify you via E-mail.  You will need to submit a new reservation with a valid credit card number.  Any remaining balance will be due at time of check in via credit card, cash or traveler's checks. 

Room Cancellation Policy

Fifteen (15) days or more before arrival a full refund or a gift certificate for the full amount is issued. Fourteen (14) days or less before arrival a full refund less $50.00 per room cancelled or a gift certificate for the full amount is issued.  Please remember that with an advance guaranteed reservation, we are making a commitment to provide you with the room reserved and you are agreeing to our Inn's terms regarding our cancellation policies outlined above.

Check In/Check Out

You may check in between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. For early or late arrivals, please call in advance.  Check out is 12:00 noon on the day of departure.

Restrictions

The Cavallina Inn does not accommodate children unless the entire Inn is booked for a private event such as a Wedding or Family Reunion. We are a smoke-free inn. A $250.00 cleaning fee is charged for non-compliance or if the room smells of smoke. Pets cannot be accommodated.

 

Deposit and Cancellation Policies:

At time of booking, we guarantee your reservation with a valid credit card—Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.  

We will charge your credit or debit card for one night's stay as a deposit toward your stay.    If for any reason your card is declined, we cancel your reservation and place the room back in our inventory and notify you via E-mail.  You will need to submit a new reservation with a valid credit card number.  Any remaining balance will be due at time of check in via credit card, cash or traveler's checks. 

Please remember that with an advance guaranteed reservation, we are making a commitment to provide you with the room reserved and you are agreeing to our Inn's terms regarding our cancellation policies outlined below.

The Cavallina Inn is a property where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us and last minute changes or cancellations significantly affect our business. If your travel plans change and you must change or cancel your reservation, please do so at least 15 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations during holidays, special events or peak periods require a 21 or 30-day advance notice.  Reservations cancelled at least 15 days in advance (or 21/30 days) will receive a full refund of the deposit, less our $25 administrative fee.  To avoid any confusion or misunderstanding, all cancellations and changes are requested in writing via email.


While we understand that situations do arise, in the unlikely event that you must cancel within the time frame of 15, 21, or 30 days, shorten your stay, check out early or no-show, we must ask you to take full responsibility for your entire reservation unless we can fill the room.  Naturally, we make every attempt to fill a vacancy by contacting customers who have requested the room while it was already booked.  This policy applies for reservations regardless of when they were booked.  Guests will be financially responsible for a cancellation, change, shortened stay or no-show  even if the booking was made for an arrival within 15 days (or within 21 or 30 days of a holiday or special event) if the room cannot be filled.

Please inquire at time of booking for deposit and cancellation policies on group room bookings or events. All group bookings have a minimum 60 day cancellation policy. .

Lost and Found Items:

Should you leave an item behind, we will place it in a safe place until we hear from you.  We will be glad to return the item via regular U.S.Mail for the cost of the postage charged to your credit card on record.

Rates:

Rates do not include taxes and are subject to change.  Rates are the most current, up-to-date rates on the Internet and are the rates that will be charged regardless of what may be found on another website.  Other websites may not be maintained by The Cavallina Inn thus we have no control over the timeliness of rate updates.

Higher rates apply during peak periods, holidays and special events. Some events/holidays may require a two night minimum.  The rates listed for each room represent our standard range of rates for that room during non-peak rental dates.  Midweek discounts may be available during certain times of the year.  Please inquire when booking over the phone.
